Friederike Chylek (harpsichord)

Het werk van William Byrd valt vooral op door zijn verscheidenheid aan genres en structurele principes. Dit komt vooral tot uiting in zijn unieke klaviermuziek. De invloed die Byrd ook had op de continentale ontwikkeling van de pianomuziek blijft opmerkelijk. Met William Byrd geeft Friederike Chylek een vervolg aan haar laatste albums From Byrd To Byrd (jpc 8809431) en Time Stands Still (jpc 5683528). Friederike Chylek speelt op een kopie van het klavecimbel van Matthias Griewisch naar Ioannes Ruckers, 1624.
